World Wide Technology SD-WAN Engineer in India
Work Experience
7 to 12 years’ experience deploying and implementing core route/switch and data center networks by industry best practices
Experience deploying and implementing Viptela SD-WAN solutions would be an added advantage
SD-WAN implementation and migration experience
SDA implementation experience
Familiar with design best practices for core network and SD-WAN solutions
Experience initiating and working through OEM TAC cases
Extensive Nexus 7K/5K/2K experience is required
Experience with logical design models (L2/L3, VPC, VDC, Datacenter Zones, Spanning tree, VFR, VTP, VLANs, physical cabling)
Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QOS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP), and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, TustSec)
Strong IP communication and routing knowledge are required (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
Experience with inter-company routing is preferred
Understand WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, Frame Relay, DMVPN, WAAS, and MPLS)
Experience with network automation using Ansible or other orchestration tools
Configuration management of networking devices using automation tools (APIC-EM, Cisco Prime) and API scripting with Python
Cisco partner post-sales consulting experience is strongly preferred
Experience with Fortinet and/or Palo Alto SD-WAN solutions
Ability to cross train other engineering team members
Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
